New York Edge has always been at the forefront of community service and engagement. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, we are introducing a range of service projects that your site can choose to implement. These projects are designed not only to honor Dr. King’s vision but also to enrich our communities and the lives of those we serve.

Available Service Projects:

  • Mural Beautification Projects: Enhancing communal spaces with inspiring art.

  • Build it Lit: Library Beautification Projects: Revitalizing our learning spaces.

  • Garden Projects: Winter Seedling Projects: Fostering green thumbs even in the colder months.

  • Food Explorers Multigenerational Cafeteria: Bridging generations through culinary explorations.

  • Beautification Projects - Live Grows: Creating living spaces that inspire and heal.

  • Reading with our Elders: Connecting generations through stories and shared experiences.

  • Sewing Self-Care Bags: Crafting care packages for those in need.

  • Sewing Self-Care Kid-to-Kid: A special project for new migrant students, fostering empathy and support.

  • Building Home Libraries: Cultivating a love for reading by creating personal libraries.

We believe these projects will not only benefit those who participate but also leave a lasting impact on the community.
